October 31

It was a busy weekend. Cousin Lauren was confirmed, played volleyball and it was Halloween.  Saturday, Maria and I went to watch Lauren play volleyball at the Junior High School. It took us 15 minutes to walk there and the brisk cool air helped wake both of us up. When we got there we also found out cousin Kirsten was playing as well (for Tilley). It was hard cheering for both teams, every play was a good play! Maria sat with Auntie Adena the first game and loved every minute of it. I was a little worried because it was pretty loud in the gym but apparently she was okay with it. We stayed and watch a couple more games before we headed home.

That evening was the sharing part of confirmation. It was very moving. Maria fell asleep as I rocked her at the back of the church.

Sunday we attended the 11am service and then headed over to Uncle Greg & Auntie Leona's to celebrate. Maria was tired and cranky. She finally fell asleep just before we left. She slept for a bit when we arrived back home before all the trick or treaters came.

Maria put on her Giraffe costume and handed out candy. The kids loved her costume! We were pretty excited to see 43 kids come to the door, that is a huge step from 8, two years ago. (Good thing Darren ran out and bought some candy around 5 that night, so we had something to give out)

She is getting so big. In a couple of weeks she'll have her 4 month check up.  4 Months already!!!
