Maria is now 9 months old. I can't believe how quickly time flies. Everyday she is becoming more of a little girl than a baby. It's been neat seeing her personality shine. Maria is a thinker. She will watch everything around her and mull it over in her head then she goes! She has a quiet mischievous nature. She knows what she shouldn't play with and will look back at you to see what you will do (with a grin).
We had her 9 month check up on Thursday. She is finally hit the bottom of the chart. Her weight is in the 0-5 percentile and her height is in about the 60th.
Maria has been a very busy girl. She has two different crawls she uses now. The army crawl, quiet and quick and the regular hands and knee crawl, to slow it down with some noise.
We've been giving her little pieces of cut of foods and she loves feeding herself. Her coordination with the sippy cup is getting better by the day. There aren't any foods that she refuses to eat, (hopefully it lasts)
Last night Maria climbed her first steps. We don't have stairs at home (that she can get to to climb) but at Uncle Byron's there are nice carpeted ones. Her cousin showed her how it was done and she was half way up them in no time.
All four front teeth are through. Two more more are working their way through on either side of the top teeth. These ones seem to be bothering her more than the the others put together.
